Project born out of love at first sight for Sri Lanka, the pearl of the Indian Ocean
After six stays in Sri Lanka, two French Alexandra and her mother Marie decide to settle there and open a hotel in the south of the island. The goal is to be near the ocean but not on the busy beaches. Peace and Nature are the two bases of their new life which has just begun.
Alexandra and Marie want to preserve nature by avoiding all forms of pollution as much as possible.
They hope to share their point of view with travelers and people here.
The hotel is made up of six rooms which they have decorated themselves. Each of them represents a part of the Island where customers will find a bit of their journey or will have a taste of their journey in the lands of Sri Lanka.
A hearty breakfast including fresh organic fruit is served every morning. The best herbal teas and drinks, all organic, are served on demand. Fruit juices are pressed and served immediately.
The swimming pool with waterfall offers a space for rest and bathing, in the middle of flowering plants in the shade of large trees which protect from too hot a sun.
An organic botanical garden is developing behind the hotel. Customers will learn how to recognize spice plants.
Finally, at the end of 2022 Villa Lyvie will offer a very cozy SPA area for massages and Ayurvedic treatments offered by an allopathic doctor recognized by the Faculty in Ayurvedic speciality.
